Our 4th Annual Rent-A-Chick program is back!
Ever wonder why our chickens are so friendly? It starts on day one. Early, positive interaction with people—especially children—helps our chicks grow into calm, social birds.
For two weeks, our baby chicks head home with local families, where they receive plenty of gentle handling and one-on-one attention during this important stage of their development. It’s a meaningful way to support their socialization while giving your family a hands-on farm experience.
Pickup will be at the farm on May 9 from 9:00–10:00 AM. You’ll receive your chicks, a brooder box, and all the supplies needed to create a cozy home away from home.
Simply return the chicks to the farm after two weeks (or sooner, if needed).
