The Honey Drip Café

Warm coffee. Local roots. Sweet mornings on the farm.

Tucked just beside the orchard at Hansel Hill Farm, The Honey Drip Café is a cozy, community-powered coffee stop built for early risers, weekend wanderers, and anyone who loves a great cup with a little local magic.

We roast our own beans right here on the farm and brew them fresh daily—no frills, no fuss, just really good coffee with a conscience.

What’s Brewing

We keep it simple, seasonal, and local where it matters most:

  • Farm-roasted coffee (drip)

  • Organic beans sourced ethically from Peru, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Colombia, and more

  • Rainforest Alliance Certified & in-season only

  • Non-dairy and dairy milk options (oat, whole, cream)

  • Hot tea available — organic blends served with a side of our very own honey

  • Pastries + light breakfast coming soon (think: bagels, muffins, and maybe a locally baked loaf or two)

🐝 Why It’s Called The Honey Drip

Because coffee and honey belong together.
Because our bees work hard—and their golden reward deserves a starring role.
And because when your café shares land with 8 active hives, how could you not name it in their honor?

Morning Commuter Stop

Mobile Café Now Open – Weekdays from 6–8 AM
Swing through the Maryland Muffler parking lot (just off Route 3 and 97) for a quick grab-and-go on your morning commute. Same farm-roasted beans. Same sweet start to the day. No extra detour required.

Where To Sit & Sip

When the café is on the farm, you’re invited to linger. We’ve set up:

  • Picnic benches scattered under the trees

  • Covered seating near the hoop house and orchard

  • Additional spaces in the works—we’re still building, but always welcoming

How To Order

Our menu is updated seasonally and may include rotating offerings, so look for a QR code at the café to see what’s available that day. Whether it’s a limited-time roast or an experimental syrup made from local fruit, we like to keep things fresh.

Summer Add-Ons (Coming Soon)

We’re experimenting with:

  • Cold brew

  • Homemade snow cones using farm-grown fruit + organic syrups (no dyes or weird stuff)

Grab a cup. Feed the goats. Wander the farm.

The Honey Drip Café is open during select events, CSA pickups, and special weekend hours.

From Weddings To Weekends

The café trailer is mobile—and we’re dreaming up ways to take it beyond the farm. Planning a wedding or event? Rent the Honey Drip trailer to serve coffee at your celebration.

The Honey Drip Café: FAQs

  • Most days, The Honey Drip Café lives right here at Hansel Hill Farm—just next to the orchard and farm shop. You’ll see our cozy café trailer nestled under the trees, serving up fresh-roasted coffee during public hours and events.

  • Not quite! Here's when you can catch us:

    • Wednesday Mornings (open to the public)

    • During CSA pickup times

    • At special events, parties, and farm gatherings
Keep an eye on our Instagram or website calendar for updates on when we’re pouring!

  • We do—but it’s seasonal and ever-changing.

You’ll find a QR code posted at the café trailer—scan it to see what’s available that day. Expect farm-roasted drip coffee, espresso, teas, honey add-ons, and eventually local pastries or snow cones in the warmer months.

  • Yes! And we’re so excited about this part:

Our mobile café sets up weekday mornings (6–8 AM) in the Maryland Muffler parking lot, right off Route 3 and 97 in Millersville.

It’s the perfect commuter stop—fast, local, and just a quick detour off your route.

  • Yes—and it’s one of our favorite parts.

    You can sit:

    • Under the trees near the orchard

    • At one of our shaded picnic tables

    • Inside the hoop house (great for rainy days)

    • Or just perch with your coffee and pet the goats—we won’t stop you

More seating is coming as we continue to grow!

  • Absolutely.

We’re working on offering mobile café rentals for weddings, birthday parties, private farm events, and more. Imagine espresso and honey lattes served from a rustic trailer while your guests mingle under string lights? We can do that.
