For teens who want to step up and help out
Too old for camp but still want to be part of the fun? Our Counselor-in-Training Program is designed for teens ages 13–15 who are ready to take on more responsibility, learn leadership skills, and support younger campers throughout the day.
Only 6 CIT spots available per week
Must be at least 13 years old to participate
CITs are part of the full-day camp (9:00am–3:30pm), and are expected to arrive 15 minutes early and stay 15 minutes after camp ends each day
CITs work closely with counselors and Farmer Brian to learn the ropes of farm-based education, safety, and fun
It’s a great stepping stone for future farm counselors—and a meaningful way to stay connected with camp even after aging out. Many of our counselors got their start as CITs—and they’ll tell you it was one of the best parts of their summer.
